What this site is
GOTRECA is a free, independent comparison tool for golf iron sets. It models estimated carry distance, ball height, and distance gaps between clubs using a trajectory model based on publicly listed manufacturer specifications (loft, lie, length) and third-party reference data, as described on our Methodology page.
Estimates, not advice
All figures shown on this site — including carry distance, ball flight height, distance gaps, and any comparisons between iron sets — are modeled estimates, not measured results for any individual golfer. They are intended as a general, educational comparison tool and are not a substitute for a professional club fitting. Actual performance varies significantly based on swing characteristics, shaft, conditions, and many other factors that a generic model cannot account for. Do not treat any number on this site as a guarantee of how a specific club will perform for you.
No warranty of accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep specifications and modeled data current and correctly sourced, but we make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any information on this site. Manufacturer specifications can change without notice; third-party reference data (e.g., benchmark averages or dispersion studies) reflects the sources and retrieval dates noted where cited.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GOTRECA and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or any purchasing decision made based on information found here. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for intent or gross negligence under Swiss law).
